COURSE OVERVIEW:

Strategic human resource management (strategic HRM) provides the foundations for aligning people management theory and organizational development practices with the long-term strategic agenda and business goals and organization. Strategic Human Resources Management focuses on longer-term resourcing issues within the context of an organization's strategic priorities and the evolving nature of work.

It also informs other HR strategies, such as reward or performance, determining how they are integrated into the overall business strategy.

In this course, managers will acquire a broad understanding of the theoretical foundations of HRM, and the best practices applied in leading and managing people to support sustainable growth while attracting and retaining talent within the organization.
